The State Of Our Service Areas
The latest Census reports that roughly 35,000 citizens of Newton, Jasper, and Walton counties are uninsured adults and qualify for our care due to income constraints, with the uninsured rates predicted to double by 2026. The CDC reports that 6 in 10 adults have a chronic illness and 4 in 10 adults have two or more chronic illnesses.
How We Serve Our Community
Willing Helpers Clinic serves all residents of Newton, Jasper, and Walton counties who are uninsured and meet income guidelines. We provide our patients the same quality of healthcare as they would receive with insurance - all for no cost.

We bring value to the less-fortunate in our community by providing care when their needs can be hard to meet due to financial constraints. In addition, we constantly strive to improve our patients' quality of life, reduce absences at the workplace due to illness, and teach healthy habits to prevent generational illness patterns.

Our clinic serves as a training facility to several medical schools, educating them on how to compassionately provide medical care by expanding their worldview and thinking outside the boundaries of a textbook.

In 2024 alone, we provided over $2.8 million dollars in care and saved our hospital system over $1 million dollars.

We serve 91 unhoused patients. Most of our patients visit every three months due to the chronic nature of their illnesses.
Services are provided to all patients regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, veteran status, or immigration status.
