Willing Helpers is an appointment-only charitable (free) medical clinic serving Newton, Walton, and Jasper Counties in Georgia. 
We can help people who meet all of the following criteria:
​
  • Have a chronic illness (see list below)
  • Live in Newton, Jasper, or Walton County, GA 
  • Are age 18 or older
  • Have no health insurance for doctor visits
  • Have low household income (within 200% of the Federal Poverty Level). 
    • A household is defined as yourself, your legally married spouse, and any children in your custody who are under 18.
    • Contact us for help if you are unsure if you meet the income requirements.
                                             
These are the main things that we treat:

  • Diabetes                     

  • Heart Disease                

  • Chronic bronchitis      

  • Seizures 

  • Mental Health Counseling

  • Prediabetes                

  • Heart Failure  

  • Asthma           

  • Atrial Fibrillation        

  • Thyroid Disorders          

  • High Blood Pressure

  • COPD/Emphysema

  • History of Stroke

  • Kidney Disease           

  • High Cholesterol        

  • Gout

  • Blood Thinner Management 

If your illness is not on this list, we will need to ask more questions to see if we can treat you at the clinic.

We may also ask you to come in for an in-person evaluation with our nurse.

Commonly requested services that we are unable to provide:

  • Pap smears, mammograms, or STIs:  Try the Newton County Health Department (770) 786-9086

  • Dental: Try Walmart Health in Conyers (678) 607-4465 (est $30 visit fee + $75-125 per filling/pulled tooth)

  • Bone breaks or orthopedic: Try Freedom Orthopedic in Toccoa (404) 998-0936 ($200 first office visit)

  • Chronic pain (and we cannot prescribe narcotic pain medicine of any kind)
