A message to our patients, friends and neighbors:

After reviewing all options with our medical team, Willing Helpers Clinic be pausing operations for the next three weeks during the Coronavirus Outbreak.

Staff will be working from home to check voice messages and emails. If you had an upcoming appointment, staff will contact you to reschedule when the clinic reopens.

We will post clinic updates on our Facebook page, Instagram and website if changes occur. We will also share any helping resources that we discover.

For your health and the health of those around you, we strongly encourage our patients, friends and neighbors to self-isolate and stay home as much as possible.

If you are concerned about Coronavirus Exposure, or if you have mild symptoms like fever or cough, our friends at Piedmont Healthcare have established a nurse line that can provide telephone symptom screening. Call 1- 866-460-1119 Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to speak with a nurse.

If you have a medical emergency, like severe difficulty breathing or choking, allergic reaction, symptoms of heart attack or stroke, confusion, difficulty speaking, walking, or seeing, or severe sudden pain, please call 911.

Please know that our staff and volunteers are praying daily for the health of our community. Please stay safe.

 

Willing Helpers is an appointment-only charitable medical clinic located in Newton County, Georgia. 
We can help people who meet all of the following criteria:
  • Have a chronic illness (see list below)
  • Live in Newton County, GA 
  • Are age 18 or older
  • Have no health insurance of any kind
  • Have low household income (within 200% of the Federal Poverty Level). 
    • A household is defined as yourself, your legally married spouse, and any children in your custody who are under 18.
    • Contact us for help if you are unsure if you meet the income requirements.

  • Hypertension​ (High Blood Pressure)

  • Heart Disease

  • High Cholesterol

  • Coumadin/Warfarin INR Monitoring

If your illness is not on this list, contact us to see if we can help

  • Diabetes 

  • Asthma

  • COPD (Lung Disease)

  • Thyroid 

  • Gout

  • Seizures

What can't we treat?
  • No dental care

  • No narcotic medicines/pain management

  • No orthopedics (bone breaks)

  • No OB/GYN care
